The petitioner is in custody since 06.12.2017 in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 160 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the stand taken by the petitioner with regard to his own candidature which appears to be highly improbable on the face of it, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. It is accordingly, rejected. The petitioner, however, may renew his prayer for
