Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for offence under sections 377 and 302 IPC and under sections 3⁄4 of the POCSO Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no eye witness to the occurrence and merely on his confessional statement before the police he has been implicated in this case. In course of investigation, it has come in the case diary that the petitioner wrote a ransom letter demanding ransom from the father of one of the deceased.
Considering the gravity of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
