The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Mahua P. S. Case No. 495 of 2015 registered under Sections 365 and 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation as also the fact that the petitioner and others had forcibly abducted the wife and the son of the informant which fact finds corroboration from the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
