The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 33, 34, 36, 37(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner has transpired during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Arvind Yadav. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith accused persons were selling spurious liquor. Petitioner is in custody since 14.06.2021.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in nineteen more cases of similar nature.
