Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 357 of 2017 registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation in brief is that all the five named accused persons fired indiscriminately on the husband of the informant and he sustained 11 firearm injuries.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is general and omnibus against all five accused persons; whereas the learned counsel for the State submits that 17 firearm injuries were found inclusive of 15 entry wounds and

No.23738 of 2018(3) dt.25-06-2018 2/2 the informant is the eye witness and prayer of bail of another coaccused Ujal @ Ujjawal Mishra was earlier rejected by this Court and the petitioner has also criminal antecedents. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial. (Arun Kumar, J) S.KUMAR/- U
