JUSTICE ADITYA KUMAR TRIVEDI ORAL ORDER 04-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.

Petitioner was apprehended along with one country made pistol as well as live cartridges. From para-3 of the pleading, it is apparent that petitioner has got chequered history. Though, petitioner is under custody since 05.04.2014, taking into account, criminal antecedents of the petitioner, for the present, I do not see it a fit case for grant of bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.

The learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months, for which the Superintendent of Police, Jamui is directed to produce all the witnessed within the aforesaid stipulated period of six months so that the trial be concluded without any hitch and hindrance.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48749 of 2014 (5) dt.04-05-2015 In case, the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period of six months, petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
