1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation vide mediation report dated 05.02.2024. It is further submitted that both the parties are ready to live together and lead a happy and peaceful conjugal life.
4. Learned A.P.P does not dispute with the contention made on behalf of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid fact that dispute between
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58243 of 2023(5) dt.13-05-2024 2/2 the parties has already been resolved, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM II Muzaffarpur(West) in connection with Complaint Case No. 272 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
