The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No.1431 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The Excise Official got information that the petitioner was selling liquor. On such, a raid was conducted and from the place situated by the side of the shop of the petitioner, 47.13 litres of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The apprehended accused, namely, Ritesh Choudhary disclosed that the petitioner was his maternal uncle, who managed to flee away, had kept the liquor.
Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54031 of 2019(2) dt.28-08-2019 2/2 inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
