This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Brahmpur P.S. Case No.226 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 414, 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b) a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of anticipatory bail.

This application is, accordingly, rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13330 of 2016 (6) dt.21-07-2016 2/2 The petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before the court below, in connection with Brahmpur P.S. Case No.226 of 2014, within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
