In this case, the petitioners are praying for issuance of direction to the respondents to issue P.D.S. licence in the name of petitioners.
Earlier the petitioners had moved before this Court in CWJC No. 5803 of 2011 which was disposed of on 11.12.2012. In that case, a prayer was made for disposal of the application for grant of P.D.S. licence which has been considered in their favour but not acted upon by the District Selection Committee for a long period of time. The writ application was disposed of with a direction to the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6170 of 2016 dt.18-07-2017 District Selection Committee to consider the claim of the petitioners in accordance with recommendation as well as the current policy in vogue with regard to such allotments/selection. The Court had also recorded expectation to dispose of the matter within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of the order. As having been claimed that the application has not been disposed of as yet, let the authority should consider and take a decision in accordance with law.
With the aforementioned observation, this application is disposed of.
