2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 189 of 2024 arising out of Durgawati P.S. Case No. 61 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 304-B of the IPC.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of Soni Kumari (the deceased) was solemnized with son of this petitioner. The customary present were given at the occasion of marriage. On 08.03.2024, the informant got an information that his daughter had died. He reached to the matrimonial house of the deceased and saw the petitioner, his wife and his son (husband of the deceased) shifting the dead body. Meanwhile, the police came

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is father-in-law of the deceased, having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. It has also been submitted that there is no allegation of demand of dowry in the FIR and the husband of the deceased is already under custody. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is under custody since 10.03.2024. He has also submitted that the victim has committed suicide which is corroborated by the post-mortem report as a ligature mark was found around her neck.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased, having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. He is under custody since 10.03.2024. There is no allegation of demand of dowry in the FIR.

7. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-1st-cum-Special Judge, Kaimur at
