The petitioner became an applicant for grant of pension under Jay Prakash Samman Yojna initiated by the State. He claims to have satisfied all the eligibility conditions. The matter is pending for consideration before the respondents. There may be some error in writing the name of the petitioner and his father. On the basis of material placed by the petitioner and the Staterespondent, the competent appropriate authority has to take a decision. No such decision appears has been taken. Several

Considering the above, this application is disposed of directing the respondent no.3 to examine/ consider the pending claim of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision, if not already taken, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

However, if no such matter is pending before the respondent, the petitioner shall file a representation and the respondent, in that case, shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law.
