The application seeks a direction upon the respondents to provide him one Armed Guard with carbine who shall protect his life.
A counter affidavit has been filed. Counsel for the State, with reference to the counter affidavit, states that considering the threat perception of the petitioner, his applications for grant of licence for three fire arms were allowed in favour of the petitioner. The details of the arms obtained by the petitioner thereagainst have also set out.
In the light of the statements made in the counter affidavit, this Court finds no merit in the writ petition. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
