The petitioner complains of infirmity in the voter-list and submits that he has filed a representation present at Annexure-1 which is dated 9.3.2016.

Mr. Amit Shrivastava, learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission informs that the voter-list was published in January, 2016 and the last date for filing objection was 25.1.2016 and since the objection was not filed within the prescribed date, hence it is not acted upon by the prescribed authority. I am in agreement with the submission advanced by Mr. Shrivastava.

The writ petition is dismissed.
