The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Civil Line PS case no. 309 of 2017 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 395, 412 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding some persons having come to the office of the informant and looted cash worth Rs. 1.24 lacs approx., 99 packets of gold ornaments, foreign coins, mobile sets etc.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of the confessional statement of the apprehended co-accused persons, the name of the petitioner has transpired in the present case, however the petitioner has got nothing to do with the alleged

It is further submitted that no T.I. parade had been conducted so as to conclusively implicate the petitioner in the present case. Lastly, it is submitted that the similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail vide orders dated 02.05.2018 passed in Cr.Misc. no. 20065 of 2018 and 27.04.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 24689 of 2018. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 19.09.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Civil Line PS case no. 309 of 2017.
