The petitioner seeks bail in Barhara (Krishnagarh) P.S.Case No.157 of 2014 registered under Sections 498A, 304B IPC and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P.Act.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The informant made allegation that his daughter was married with the petitioner on 14.3.2014 but she was killed within four months of her marriage. It is submitted that there is no allegation that the petitioner killed his wife.

From perusal of the Post Mortem Report, it appears that the deceased died on account of taking toxic meals. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and accordingly, the same is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of one year from the date of receipt or production of a copy of this order.
