2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief/s:- "I. For directing the respondent authority to consider for promotion of the petitioner i.e. third ACP/MACP w.e.f. 31.05.2014 by which that the petitioner had completed 30 years of service and as per the Circular, those employees who have completed 30 years of service will be entitled for third ACP/MACP.

II. For directing the respondent authority to grant the consequential

Patna High Court CWJC No.13162 of 2024(2) dt.03-09-2024 2/2 benefits to the petitioner.

III. For any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled."

3. Learned counsel for the State raised preliminary objection and submits that the Government of Bihar through General Administration Department has framed a rule namely Bihar Government Servant Grievances Redressal Rules, 2019 to deal such type of situations and petitioner has liberty to exhaust the remedy before the Service Grievance Redressal Officer.

4. In the light of the submissions made, the present writ petition stands disposed off directing the petitioner to avail his remedy before the Service Grievances Redressal Officer of the department within 30 days from today and in the said rule, time frame has already been made. Therefore, Service Grievances Redressal Officer is hereby directed to decide this matter strictly according to the time frame specified in the said rule i.e. Bihar Government Servant Grievances Redressal Rules, 2019.
