1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Town P.S Case no.219 of 2023 registered under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, eleven candidates who appeared in examination of Rural Postal Service, on enquiry it transpired that the certificates with respect to their matriculation produced by them were forged. It is stated that one of candidates disclosed that it was the petitioner who had provided him the certificate on payment of a large amount.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations in the F.I.R are false and concocted. No such

The only material against the petitioner is the statement of a co-accused made before police and the said co-accused Sandesh Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 21.7.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 40441 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 23.3.2023 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

5. The prayer for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R, grant of bail to the above named coaccused Sandesh Kumar, the petitioner being in custody since 23.3.2023 and not having any criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Town P.S Case no.219 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur.
