The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Sikta P. S. Case No. 73 of 2016 instituted under Sections 30 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that 360 bottles of Saufi Nepali Wine were recovered from behind the bush and one person was apprehended.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except the discloser of the names of these petitioners by the apprehended accused, there is no material against the petitioners and they have

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Sikta P.S.Case No. 73 of 2016; subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
