The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323, 333, 224, 109, 379, 504 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Earlier the petitioner was granted bail but he has misused the privilege of bail and he has not reported to the court for eight years, on that account his bail bound was cancelled and he is taken into custody.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner undertakes to co-operate with the proceeding and could not remain absent on any date for valid reason.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17006 of 2016 (2) dt.25-04-2016 In view of such undertaking, let petitioner, Kameshwar Rai, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Saharsa in connection with Mahishi P.S. Case No.79 of 1997, subject to the condition that one of the bailors shall be his son/wife/daughter.
