The petitioner filed this petition for modification of the order dated 22.09.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 34564 of 2016 and to extend the period of his surrender in the court below in pursuance of the order aforesaid.

It appears that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 22.09.2016, but it is submitted that the petitioner could not surrender on account of his illness within four weeks from the date of the aforesaid order.

Considering the facts that the petitioner could not surrender in the court on account of his illness, the period of surrender of the petitioner is extended for three weeks from today. Accordingly, the modification petition is allowed to the
