The petitioner seeks bail in Paliganj P.S. Case No. 277/2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged by informant (driver) that while he along with Khalasi were going to Patna on truck, miscreants came on Bolero vehicle stopped them and assaulted them. They also snatched money, mobile and other articles from them. It has been submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. His name has surfaced on the basis of suspicion. Petitioner is in jail since 29.01.2018. Considering the facts aforesaid and criminal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40532 of 2018 (3) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 antecedent of petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

Petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after completing one year in custody.
