Petitioner seeks bail in Karakat P.S. Case No. 240 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant in his written complaint has alleged snatching of Rs. 26,000/- kept in his bag by two unknown motorcycle borne culprits.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Rahul Kumar. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. TIP has not been conducted. It has been further submitted that the chargesheet has already been submitted.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Bikramganj, Rohtas, in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 240 of 2017.
