The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gaighat (Benibad O.P.) P.S. Case No. 255 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406/409/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Vide order dated 16.05.2022 on the prayer made by the petitioner that he is ready to complete the work if he is granted police protection so that the local people may not interfere, he was granted six months time to complete the work but after lapse of six months petitioner has not completed the work.

Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. BKS/- (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) U T
