The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Mahila P.S. case No. 80 of 2016 under Section 498A, 376/34 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Aarti Singh, the informant, alleged that she was married on 21.11.2016 with Krishna Singh. At the time of marriage different articles worth Rs. 5 lacs were gifted but her father-in-law, brother-in-law, maternal uncle of her husband and others began to demand additional dowry. On 23.11.2016 itself her ornaments were kept and she was sent to her Naihar on 24.11.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1526 of 2017 (2) dt.17-01-2017 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in-laws of the informant. They have no manner of concern with the family affairs of informant or her husband. In fact, the informant was suffering from ailment and she was not able to stand on her legs and on the next date itself she was sent to her Naihar along with her relative for proper treatment. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are in-laws of the informant, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in Mahila P.S. Case No. 80 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
