2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.3 of 2024 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 386, 504, 506 & 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 30.12.2023, the petitioner along with 5-6 unknown persons surrounded the informant and taken Rs.1,000/- as rangdari and further on 01.01.2024, the petitioner and other unknown persons surrounded him and snatched Rs.2,000/- from the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. As some loan amount was due from the informant side and when the petitioner asked for the same amount, the informant

It is submitted that as per the FIR, the occurrence took place firstly on 30.12.2023 and again on 01.01.2024 but the FIR has been lodged on 04.01.2024, which itself creates doubt in the prosecution case. The petitioner and informant are neighbour and the petitioner is having one criminal antecedent. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the investigation and the trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. Khagaria in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.3 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. (Sunil Dutta Mishra, J) durgesh/- U T
