The petitioner seeks bail in Baroon P.S. Case No.160 of 2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per First Information Report some miscreants overtook the truck which was going towards Calcutta. Driver was kidnapped and later on he was recovered then he has lodge the First information Report whereupon investigation started. On the confessional statement of one co-accused truck was recovered and Maruti Omni car which was involved in the commission of highway robbery and kidnapping was also recovered. The name of the petitioner has come in the present
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18278 of 2016 (2) dt.02-05-2016 case on the basis of confessional statement of Wakil Kumar and Amar Jeet Kumar. So much so he himself has made statement in paragraph 88 of the case diary.
Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected.
