1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the University.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been paid the retiral dues, but claim has been made that the petitioner is entitled for the interest at the rate of 12.5% from the year 2002 to 2015 and submits that he has not been paid the admitted amount of arrears of salary of Rs.1,13,302/-, which has been specifically mentioned in paragraph No.6 of the letter of the Vice

Patna High Court CWJC No.3372 of 2015 dt.09-05-2016 2/2 Chancellor dated 7.4.2012.

3. Let the petitioner file a representation before the Registrar of the University about the aforesaid grievance. The Registrar of the University would ensure the payment of his arrears and salary which has been mentioned in paragraph No.6 of the letter of the Vice Chancellor within a period of two months from today. In failure to make payment, it will carry interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date the amount became due upto the date of actual payment. The Registrar of the University shall also consider the claim of the petitioner with regard to Group Insurance and ensure the payment of admissible interest upto the date of payment of amount of Group Insurance.

4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
