The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No.603 of 2021 arising out of Murliganj P. S. Case No.291 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act, 2018.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 05.10.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

Allegation is of recovery of 485.280 litre of liquor from the house of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Madhepura in connection with Excise Case No.603 of 2021 arising out of Murliganj P. S. Case No.291 of 2021. The application stands allowed.
