2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Kuchila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024 dated 04.05.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/s 304(b) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the allegation in the FIR, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons used to torture and harass the daughter of the informant for dowry and at last they killed her

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and she has committed no offence. She has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and she has no concern with the mess and business of the deceased and her husband. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 06.06.2024. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62143 of 2024(2) dt.18-09-2024 3/3 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Kuchila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024.
