2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Kuchila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024 dated 04.05.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 304B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and the co-accused persons are alleged to have killed the informant's daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner no. 1 is the father-in-law

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63280 of 2024(2) dt.25-09-2024 2/3 and the petitioner no. 2 is the husband of the deceased. The petitioners neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. The petitioners have clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioners are in custody since 05.05.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the Informant as well as learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioners and stated that the petitioner no. 2 is the husband of the deceased who used to torture her.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner no. 1, namely, Panna Ram, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Kuchila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024.

7. So far as, the petitioner no. 2, namely, Akash Ram, is concerned, considering the heinous nature of allegation made against him, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner no. 2 on bail.

8. Accordingly, the application for the petitioner no.
