For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus or any appropriate writ writs, order / orders, directions / directions to the

373 in ward no. 10 of Mahmadpur Gram Panchayat under Benipatti Block in Madhubani District and further to quash the same as she was illegally selected on the said post ignoring the fact that she does not come under nourishing area and also she does not belong to the dominate caste as per population figured in nourishing area and further she has less mark than the petitioner.

b. For issuance of writ in nature of Mandamus any appropriate writ /writs, order/s, direction/s to the respondent to select the petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sevika for centre no. 373 in ward no. 10 of Mahmadpur Gram Panchayat under Benipatti Block in Madhubani District after cancellation of selection of the respondent no. 9."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19860 of 2021(2) dt.21-03-2024 3/3 petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the Ld. Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
