JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-03-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 307,353,120B and 400/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 25(1-B)a 26,27 and 35 of the Arms Act.
It is alleged that the police raided the place of information when the notorious criminal Ravi Mahto and his associates were preparing to commit some serious offence when the criminal fired on the police party causing injury. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that two persons were killed in the firing by the police and the police personnel in order to save their skin have lodged the present case. The aforesaid facts constitute grounds for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioners surrender within six weeks from today in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 228 of 2013 pending in the court of learned CJM, Khagaria.
This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
