JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-03-2022 Heard Mr. Krishna Prasad Singh, learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Manoj Kumar for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 291 of 2019 dated 03.04.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 8 and 20 (b)(ii)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

In view of the report from the court below that all the six prosecution witnesses have been examined, this Court does not consider it appropriate to re-consider granting bail to the petitioner during the pendency of the trial. The trial is likely to be concluded in a short while.

The petition is thus dismissed.
