2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sheohar Mahila P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025 dated 14.02.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115 (2), 85, 352, 351 (2) read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S. and under Sections 3, 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and and Section 66 (E) of the I.T. Act, 2000.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant's husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law started demanding one lakh and fifty thousands rupees as dowry. When the informant opposed then the informant's husband physically and mentally assaulted

It is further stated that all the jewellery and costly clothes of the informant were taken by the accused persons and left the informant in her maternal home. Later on, informant came back to her in-laws house and then she was taken to Mumbai after 2-3 months. The husband of informant started misbehaving with the informant and also posted some nude and dirty pics on facebook. In the meantime the informant became pregnant. The husband threatened her that if she will not give one lakh and fifty five thousands rupees as dowry then he will not keep her and he will solemnize second marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is submitted that prosecution case is false, fabricated, baseless and concocted. It is also submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the informant and is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and respect. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 05.04.2025

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

No.60846 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 3/3 the case as well as the period of custody, and further considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the informant and is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and respect, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Sheohar in connection with Sheohar Mahila P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025.

7. The application stands allowed.
