The petitioner is in custody in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 153/2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/302/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and on perusal of the case diary, it appears that the petitioner was the main person who had assaulted the deceased resulting in his death. The statement of the informant stands corroborated by several eye-witnesses who are co-villagers and who are eye-witnesses of the occurrence.
