The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.2845 of 2019 registered under Sections 323, 498(A) and 406 of the Indian Penal Code as well Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that the petitioner works in a private institution, Delhi and earns Rs.10,000/- per month and the petitioner is ready to pay Rs.2000/- per month to the opposite party no.2 (wife) as maintenance till the disposal of the matrimonial dispute. In

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58537 of 2022(3) dt.23-03-2023 2/2 support thereof, a supplementary affidavit has been filed. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Complaint Case No.2845 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
