1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 and learned APP for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, after some argument, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in the event, if it is directed that the cross-examination of the minor shall not be prolonged rather endeavours be made that further cross-examination of the minor is concluded expeditiously within a period of two days from the date of her appearance.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no.2 submits that further cross-examination of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58325 of 2023(2) dt.14-12-2023 2/2 the minor shall not be prolonged and will be concluded within two days from the date of her appearance.
4. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the quashing application.
5. Permission is accorded.
6. Accordingly, the quashing application is dismissed as withdrawn.
7. The Court expects that further cross-examination of the minor shall be concluded within a period of two days from the date, she appears.
