The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner along with his son got the house and land of the informant transferred through a sale deed in their name by getting the informant impersonated. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that neither any such transfer was made in favour of the petitioner or son of the petitioner nor the petitioner claims the house or the land of the informant as described in the First Information Report. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
