2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raxaul (Haraiya) P.S. Case No. 240 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is that he has killed the deceased, who was his wife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It has further been submitted that the deceased has committed suicide.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60191 of 2024(5) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is alleged to have killed the deceased for dowry. He is in jail since 16.05.2023.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 16.05.2023 and the trial has not yet started, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Session Judge-13, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Raxaul (Haraiya) P.S. Case No. 240 of 2023.
