Since appointment on compassionate ground is not a constitutional right of the petitioner and is strictly governed by the guidelines issued by the State from time to time, the reason for rejection of the claim of the petitioner is obvious.
The object of providing compassionate appointment is not a via-media to provide employment to unemployable siblings of a government servant through backdoor, if there are already people in the family, who are in government job.
Patna High Court CWJC No.5207 of 2015 dt.07-04-2015 2/2 I think, time has come, when other employable youths atleast must be given an opportunity for consideration, who unfortunately did not have a father as a government servant.
Writ application is dismissed with observation as above.
