The petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2016 in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 94 of 2016 for the offence registered under Sections 363, 366-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

A report has been received from the court of Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO that the prosecution witnesses have now been closed and the trial of the case is likely to be concluded within a period of one month. As such, no useful purpose would be served if the petitioner is released on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
