Petitioner is in custody since 4.5.2018 in a case registered for the offence under sections 364 & 384 of the Indian Penal Code.

Report of the Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Darbhanga dated 7.9.2019, received in view of order of this Court dated 2.9.2019, reflects that out of 9 chargesheet witnesses, only one has been examined and for ensuring appearance of other witnesses, summons as well as warrants have been issued.

In view of nature of the allegation against the petitioner as well as the report of the trial court, prayer for bail of the petitioner, in Sessions Trial No. 379 of 2018, is rejected. Let the trial be concluded within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order, failing which the petitioner will have the liberty to renew the prayer for bail.
