This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 47, 5(B),(C) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The offence was allegedly committed on 28.06.2016 under the provisions of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act by the co-accused. Name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of the co-accused.

The petitioner has got two criminal antecedents of similar nature.

Hence, considering his antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
