02-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 345 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, the daughter of the informant was done to death by tying wire in her neck by her in-laws members due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law respectively of the deceased. There is specific allegation of assault and torture against the petitioners and other family members. The deceased daughter of the informant was married with son of petitioners in the year 2018. The post-mortem report, kept at flag 'P', also

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53092 of 2019(5) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 supports the prosecution case that death has occurred due to hanging.

In view of specific allegation of assault and torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry against the petitioners, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
