This is a petition for grant of regular bail in a case under Sections 147, 148, 149, 385, 337, 436, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation that the petitioner and other coaccused persons came and petitioner demanded Rs.1,00,000/- as Rangdari and also asked to withdraw the case and because of the fear the informant and his family members hidden themselves inside the house. Thereafter, they started pelting stones and bricks on the house of the informant and also made firing on them and set the house of the informant on fire by sprinkling petrol but the informant and his family members anyhow came out from his house.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14266 of 2015 (3) dt.11-08-2015 no specific allegation of overt act against the petitioner and he is in jail custody since 22.12.2014.

Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.
