The petitioner seeks bail in Supaul P.S. Case No. 85 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 399, 402, 414, 464 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant is the Officer-in-Charge of Supaul P.S. who in his written report has stated that on 20.02.2018 he received information from Sub-divisional Police Officer, Supaul, that 5 to 6 criminals have assembled near Supaul Bus Stand to commit some grave crime and on receiving such information he proceeded towards the place of occurrence and found seven miscreants with three motorcycle standing beside the road, and on seeing police 6 criminals fled away on two motorcycle but the petitioner was apprehended by the police with motorcycle.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It has been further submitted that the seized motorcycle belonged to the cousin brother of the petitioner. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 21.02.2018. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul, in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 85 of 2018.
