2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Harlakhi P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 22 of the NDPS Act.

3. Considering the nature of allegation made in the FIR, as well as, the fact that the petitioner's name has surfaced in the present case on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused namely Md. Salamat Darji from whom the recovery of prohibited medicine (cough syrup) was made and the quantity of the seized prohibited medicine (cough syrup) was more than that of the permissible limit, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on pre-arrest bail.

4. The petitioner, if so advised, may seek regular bail before the learned District Court. The learned District Court is directed to pass a necessary order, in accordance with law, on the basis of materials available on record, on the same day, the bail application is filed, without any further delay and without being prejudiced by any observation made by this Court.

5. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
