2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 103(1), 118(2), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have killed the victim by stabbing him.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 5.2.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased had gone to the house of the petitioner in the midnight because of some earlier dispute and because of grave and sudden provocation, the occurrence took place. She further submits that it not a case of pre-planned murder.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the assailant of the deceased, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

8. If the trial of the petitioner is delayed due to the fault of the prosecution side then the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
