JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER 11-05-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel representing the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 227 of 2012, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act.

The marriage of the petitioner with complainant was solemnized 20 years ago. Now, this complaint case has been filed with allegation of torture and assault due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Inspite of notice, the opposite party no.2 has not appeared, though the petitioner is ready to keep the complainant with honour and dignity.

No.10941 of 2017 (4) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 In the facts and circumstances as stated above, the petitioner in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Gaya in connection with Complaint Case No. 227 of 2012, subject to the conditions as laid down in section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
